November

Along came November, and what came with that was Melbourne Cup day, which was thoroughly enjoyed by my husband. He attended a function in the city, it cost some exorbitant amount (but luckily he didn't have to pay) he was invited to attend by a college; he attends the same one every year but this year he made the most of it, I dropped him at the train station at 10am and he walked back into the house about 1am the next morning. Needless to say he had a rather sore head the next day.

It also seems that the Christmas hype is now in full force. I love Christmas, I love the decorations I love the way the kids get excited when they know that Santa is going to be arriving, I just dont like all the added people that start appearing in the shops. The kids are counting down the days until we can put up the Christmas tree......I told them 1st of December, no earlier.

November has been pretty quiet so far. School, preschool, cricket, pretty much the same each week; though we did manage to buy a letter box, finally, after being in my house for over a year, I did form a great relationship with the postman though, he has been hand delivering the mail in all that time. We also completely de cluttered the little cottage garden area that we WILL have completed hopefully next weekend. Im on the hunt for a wrought iron table and chairs that will look so nice under the balcony right by the front window.

Arts and crafts fun with Hayley

My Dad and the boys play poker usually every Friday night, so all the kids end up at Mums place and basically just run amock for a few hours.

A day at Oran Park

Mart wanted to go to Oran Park a couple of Sundays ago, Jack was desperate for hsi friend Blake to go along with them so Blakes Mummy dropped Blake off here and Mart took the three kids along for most of the day; he had Stevie with him to help but they were all apparantly very well behaved just extremely LOUD!

Ill be back later this afternoon to finish up November and start a fresh with a post for today, time is getting away from me and we are all booked in at lunchtime for haircuts, Hayls curls are out of control, I need a trim that really isnt a trim, and Jack needs a good tidy up.
